Tao Te Ching
Lao Tzu
Expected Q3 2025
The Tao Te Ching is a cornerstone work of Taoist philosophy and one of the canonical texts of ancient Chinese literature. Typically credited to the Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu who lived in the 6th and 5th centuries BCE, the Tao Te Ching is a collection of 81 poems meant to help the reader return to harmony with the Tao, or “The Way.”
In this new translation from the Italian writer and Taoist lecturer, Daniele Bolelli, the Tao Te Ching is more accessible than ever before. While essential concepts like ‘the Sage’ and ‘Wu Wei’ remain intact and undisturbed, their meaning has been supported and contextualized with strategic use of clear, modern phrasing.
Assembled in a beautiful package with stunning illustrations from the archives of Ancient China’s great artists, this version of the Tao Te Ching will claim its rightful place on your bedside table or your personal altar to whichever god you worship.
